Bookish resolutions – 2025

Hi, cutie pies! Hope you’re all doing well. It’s been a minute since I was last here or on Bookstagram (@Imnotareader). I stopped posting pictures and reviews because I lost interest, and I didn’t want to force myself to keep doing it. But this year, I want to start again. First, I want to try writing more in English, which means posting here regularly. Once this blog becomes part of my routine, maybe I’ll start posting on Instagram again. We’ll see—no pressure! Today’s post is about my reading goals for 2025. I don’t have many, but here we go! First…

2022 bookish resolutions

Hi everyone, I hope you’re well. 2021 is about to end, and I wanted to tell you my different bookish resolutions for 2022. I have only four this year. Not a lot, but I hope that I will manage to respect all of them throughout 2022.

October plans – reading and stuff

October is my favourite month of the year! I love the vibes, the leaves changing colours, the smells of the rain, just the general ambience. And obviously, it’s also my birthday month (5th of October). I have a lot of books on my TBR this month!

TBR

I have a lot of books on my TBR, almost 200… Some of them are in English, and the rest of them are in French.

Book Series

I’ve seen this wonderful idea on @the.reader.adventure account on Instagram. It’s just to see how many series I’ve started and haven’t finished yet. I’ll do two separate categories: the ones that I have to wait for the next book(s) to come out and the ones that I need to catch up ASAP.

About me

I’m Joëlle! I come from Switzerland, land of cows, cheese and chocolate (just kidding). But really, we have all that and much more also. I love my country! I live precisely in the Canton of Valais! It’s like Canada, we have the big mountains, the people are amazing and very friendly. It’s hot in summer and super cold in winter but who cares? Autumn and winter are the best anyway!
I’m a master student at University of Lausanne. I study Risk and Natural Hazards, and I like it so much! But I’m also so excited to be done with it! I’m 25 years old and I’m ready to move on from school.
